The Pied Shieldbug (Tritomegas bicolor) closely resembles Rambur's Pied Shieldbug (Tritomegas sexmaculatus).
However, the Pied Shieldbug has a brownish or translucent wing membrane while Rambur's Pied Shieldbug has a completely dark (black) membrane.
In addition, Pied Shieldbug features less extensively white side-margins on its 'shoulders' (pronotum) compared to Rambur's Pied Shieldbug.
