Northern Hawk-Owl

Description:

In the last 100 years, the Northern Hawk-Owl has only been seen four times in the Netherlands (1920, 1995, 2005 and 2013), so it is extremely rare.
It is a non-migratory owl that usually stays within its breeding range, which is Alaska, Canada, Central Asia, Siberia and Scandinavia.
