Miller's Nettle-tap (Prochoreutis myllerana) resembles Prochoreutis sehestediana, although there are some subtle differences, including the area of white dusting which extends more than half way across the forewing in Prochoreutis sehestediana. In addition, within Prochoreutis sehestediana the white dusting is usually closer to the edge of the forewing and the lower part of the wings shows a dark brown band.
