Hermeuptychia harmonia (Satyr sp.)

Description:

Hermeuptychia harmonia is a fairly common butterfly at middle altitudes.
The similar species Hermeuptychia cucullina occurs in Bolivia and Peru.

Dr. Angel Viloria, a Venezuelian expert on Satyrine butterflies who was asked by my friend Dr. David Lees to help, has identified this butterfly.
