Grey Shrike-thrush

Description:

The plumage of the Grey Shrike-thrush varies throughout its range in Australia.
In the north, they are predominantly brown while in eastern Australia birds are mostly grey.
Adult males are grey with a brown mantle and have whitish lores (1st photo).
Females are much more drab coloured.
Immature birds have a dark streaked breast and a rusty eyebrow (photos 2-5).
