Common Nightingale

Description:

I was lucky to find a male Common Nightingale singing out in the open (1st & 2nd photo)
Usually, you can hear them singing from in the scrub, almost always invisible (3rd & 4th photo).
Its song is powerful and beautiful, an impressive range of whistles, trills and gurgles.
Common Nightingales are so named because they frequently sing at night as well as during the day.
