Buff-breasted Paradise-Kingfisher

Description:

Both male and female Buff-breasted Paradise-Kingfisher look similar but the male has much longer white tail feathers.
The tail feathers are often damaged towards the end of the breeding season, like this male clearly shows.
They usually use a rainforest termite mound as a nest.
